THE WORLD'S SHORTEST FAIRY TALE!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The girl said:'NO!' And then she lived happily ever after and went shopping and dancing, she drank martinis, went shopping (did I say that already?). She always had a clean house, never had to cook, did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, didn't save any money, never worried about the toilet seat, and had all the hot water to herself. She went to the theater, never watched sports, never wore friggin' lacy lingerie that went up her ass, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants and was pleasant all the time.

The End.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not single. Very happily married. I found this in my junk mail folder this morning and had to share. It's hilarious.

But that's not all.........

I've seen that fairy tale before. And it so fits me. LOL! Well, except the "never got fat" part. *sigh*

I'm almost tempted to read that new Kenyon book even though I haven't read any of the others. The hype is intoxicating!

Terri, there's so many of them now that you probably couldn't read all the others before Acheron's book comes out, but at the same time, it's one of those things we talked about a while ago. When does an author decide that she's done enough of a series? A lot of the Dark Hunter books have lost something just by the fact that there are so many. The writing is good and the ongoing storyline is fabulous, but in each individual romance, some of the originality is lost as more and more books come out. Acheron will be the last one for me, I think. And that's just because he's been the main recurring character since book 1 and I need to KNOW!

From what I've seen, this is more like a major biography of Acheron so I figure I can probably enjoy it without reading the other stuff. And I can get a synopsis of the other stuff from Hellion and Sin as they are die-hard Dark Hunter fans.

No, you're probably right. I think you could probably read this one book in place of all the others and have a great experience. I'm looking forward to it, but my expectations are high and I'm just hoping they're not TOO high, you know?

LOL - great fairy tale. She found her inner happiness and didn't need anyone to 'complete her'. Bravo!
