Five reasons why Springtime makes me feel so good.

1. The snow has finally melted and I can see how brown and ugly my grass is.

2. I can put away the bulky winter coat and sweaters, and realize how much weight I've gained.

3. My husband gets ideas about starting home renovation projects, and I know I will spend the next six months living in a construction zone.

4. Everyone starts having BBQ parties that I can't go to because I'm on a deadline for my Fall release.

Wait a minute, was Spring supposed to be a good thing? Where was I?

5. Oh yeah...I'm going to the Caribbean to spend a week laying on the beach with no distractions other than the cabana boy asking me if I want another rum punch!

He he he...

It's not until May, but I'm SO excited!

I have to get my passport and a new bathing suit, and I have to start running everyday to lose 10 pounds before I leave...totally worth it!

What are you excited for this Spring
(or Summer, for that matter)?

Wow, lucky. I'd love to spend at least a week laying on the beach. The only thing I'm looking forward to for summer is the fact that my classes will be over. I have no plans except to write, and find a job.

Honoria, congrats on finishing your program!! Are you going back in the Fall, or does this mean you're done?

Natasha, you can totally hitch a ride with me, but I'm already going to be sleeping on the couch because of all the people going, so I don't know where you'd sleep--unless you want to sleep in the suitcase :)

LOL, sure!
It's girls week anyway. My grandmother, my mom, my aunt--we're all spending the week together. Should be fun!

That sounds like a blast. A girls get away. I'd love to do something like that. Right now, I'm just planning a pedicure & lunch with my mom and sister. They've never done that and thought it would be a good time. Maybe we'll hit the beach another day. :-D

J.K. - Lol, no I'm not done. I will have to go back if I can't weasel my way out. I'd rather get a full time job than go back. College (school in general) sucks. I love to learn, but I don't like the whole school environment.

*sigh* I miss the university days :)

I had so much fun! Especially skipping Friday classes so I could drive to St. Catharines to spend the weekend with my boyfriend. Guess they shouldn't put Economics on Friday--think that's why I failed :)

Lol, maybe that's the problem. I have no boyfriend to skip classes for. Though, I really don't need another excuse to avoid school work. I'm just ready for the school part of life to be over. I've been going to school all my life, I'm sick of it. I'm sure one day I'll miss my college years, but not now.
